We recently( 2 weeks ago) acquired a little white bunny ( with pink eyes) who had been turned loose after the former owner decided they no longer wanted her. She seemed to have a very large appetite from day one and was very friendly and very active. Yesterday we found her bleeding around the genital area, and she was frightened. we tried rinsing the blood off, but she wasn't having any of that! We inspected her cage to make sure that nothing in it would have harmed her, and found nothing. Today we found what appears to be a few bits of skin laying in the cage with blood on it. Could she have been pregnant and given birth to a dead fetus? I understand that they will eat their young. She is not nearly as active and her eyes don't look right either.

We have had a couple of female bunnies in the past, but have not gotten into breeding them, so I am not familiar with that aspect of ownership.

You definitely should get your bunny to a rabbit savvy vet to make sure she is ok. Here is a link about birthing babies that may help:
